the beginning

just finished my last class for the day, or week. Today's topic was marriage and personality, reminded me of my family. It was long time ago, where marriage used to be one of the 'goals' in my life, since when, that my ideal goal has been changed? a psychologist said nothing in the world is constant, even thou it was subtle, but significant.

eros, 'life instinct', it motivates life-maintaining behaviors and love. thanatos, 'death instinct', is a destructive force directing us inevitably toward death, the ultimate release from the tension of living, it motivates all kinds of aggression, including war and suicide.

balance in between eros and thanatos is crucial, maybe.
without one or another, maybe, is impossible.
